Commercial Door Hardware Sales Rep Details: * Direct Hire position * $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /annually * Salaried * Process orders for hollow metal doors, wood doors, and architectural hardware accurately and efficiently. * Prepare bids and quotes by interpreting construction documents, specifications, and plans. * Manage special orders for custom doors, frames, and hardware, including sourcing, order entry, and tracking delivery timelines. * Provide strong customer service to general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and end users * Coordinate production, shipping, and delivery of materials to ensure on-time and complete job-site arrivals. * Work with the Service Department on field-related needs such as punch lists, replacements, and installations * Collaborate with Technical Services to ensure correct hardware sets, fire-rating requirements, and ADA compliance. * Commercial Door Hardware Sales Rep Qualifications: * Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and architectural plans. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and documentation. * Effective communication and customer service skills. * Ability to coordinate across multiple departments, including Production, Shipping, Service, and Technical Services. * Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines. * Familiarity with commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware (preferred but not required). * Competence with basic computer systems and order-processing software.
