Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a Inside Sales Representative professional to join a dynamic team! The Inside Sales Representative is an essential member of the organization. The Inside Sales Representative Rep must effectively communicate with customers, vendors, & all departments in the organization and therefore must exercise the highest quality of professionalism. The Inside Sales Representative candidate requires a high degree of quantifiable & qualifiable results regarding accurate, complete & timely response to all parties necessary to ensure the completion of the sale. This organization is a growing and dynamic ceramic tile distributor with more than 30 years in the industry. They've carved out a unique niche in the commercial design market, offering a constantly evolving palette of products to meet the demands of architects and designers. They specialize in commercial projects and serve two levels of customers working with architects and designers in Southern California, San Francisco, San Diego, and developing markets in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities * Enter product quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders into the company system. * Communicate with customers, vendors, and the sales team regarding pricing, shipping, schedules, and delays. * Follow up on all quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders proactively. * Source custom or non-standard solutions to meet customer needs. * Process RMAs for customer and vendor returns. * Verify accuracy of purchase orders, vendor confirmations, bills of lading, and related documents. * Monitor inventory levels, inbound shipments, and warehouse schedules. * Coordinate with warehouse or carriers to resolve shipment issues. * Understand and apply various customer credit terms (Cash in Advance, Net 30, Joint Check, etc.). * Perform basic mathematical calculations including unit conversions and square footage. * Stay up to date on new products to better support customers. Inside Sales Representative Qualifications * Proven customer service experience with a professional demeanor. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask across systems. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication. * Typing speed of at least 30 WPM. * Comfortable using standard office equipment (calculators, faxes, scanners, etc.). * Highly desired: Sage100 and Google Drive experience. * Strong math skills (unit conversions, fractions/decimals, currency conversions).
