We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves selling branded merchandise, cool gadgets, and other funky on-brand accessories in our common areas. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to connect with customers and drive increased sales. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Engage and interact with customers in common areas, showcasing and selling branded merchandise and unique products. * Demonstrate products to capture customer interest and drive sales. * Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, promotions, and AREA15 brand standards. * Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience. * Upsell and cross-sell to meet the sales goals while creating memorable experiences for guests. * Be familiar with merchandise from all retail stores and work in the assigned outlet based on business needs, rotating between different AREA15 retail stores. * Assist in setting up and organizing product displays, ensuring the retail space is visually appealing and well-stocked. * Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and sales techniques. * Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. * Accurately complete each cashless sales transaction. * Collaborate with the team to create a fun and energetic work environment. * Maintain a tastefully styled look that is on-brand and complements AREA15's offerings. * Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times. * Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. * Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards. * Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Perform other work-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: * Applicants must be 21 years of age or older * Proof of eligibility to work in the United States * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A passion for creativity and innovation. * Ability to style themselves to complement AREA15's retail offerings. * Ability to perform and engage with guests to drive sales. * Ability to lift 30 lbs. and use a box cutter safely. * Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift. * Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets. * Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * Ability to work with a team, being a team player. * Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with customers. * Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations. * Ability to work in low lighting and sensory-sensitive environments. * Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke. * Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat, and sun exposure.
