Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is vital in driving company growth through identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a proactive, self-driven operator who can independently manage client relations, develop new opportunities, and deliver exceptional service. This is a performance-driven position with significant earning potential through incentives on new contracts. The BDM strengthens GKS' reputation, expands market presence, and supports operational teams in delivering elite security services. You Will Market A Full Suite Of Security Solutions: * Armed & Unarmed Security Officers * Mobile Patrol * Off-Duty Law Enforcement * Access Control * Video Surveillance Solutions * Command Center Monitoring Services * Workplace Violence Prevention * Threat Assessment * Customized Security Programs Key Responsibilities Account Management & Client Relations * Maintain and strengthen relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction and timely issue resolution. * Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients; manage communication and expectations. * Conduct routine check-ins, site visits, and performance reviews to ensure service excellence. * Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase account value. * Collaborate with operations to quickly address service concerns or feedback. * Provide after-hours support when necessary for urgent client issues. Business Development & Sales Growth * Identify, approach, and close new business opportunities across commercial, residential, property management, construction, facility, and event security sectors. * Present Green Knight Security's services with authority and confidence. * Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, assessments, proposals, pricing, negotiation, RFP responses, and post-award transitions. * Develop strategies to expand market presence and exceed annual revenue goals. * Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings to generate leads and drive brand visibility. Capture Management & Proposal Leadership * Lead capture activities including win themes, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies. * Conduct detailed RFP reviews and develop clarifying questions. * Ensure high-quality, compliant, compelling proposals that reflect GKS' capabilities. * Partner with internal SMEs and operations to design customized solutions. Marketing & Brand Development * Support marketing initiatives that increase inbound leads and brand visibility. * Coordinate digital content, social media activity, and campaigns promoting GKS services. * Build industry and community awareness by participating in local events, associations, and networking platforms. Operational Collaboration & Reporting * Work with operations leadership to ensure seamless onboarding and strong service execution. * Track sales activity, account interactions, and performance through CRM (Salesforce preferred). * Analyze market trends, client needs, and competition, providing insights to senior leadership. * Support special projects and strategic company initiatives as assigned.
