Join the Launch of a New Division! SUR Coffee is a rapidly growing, specialty coffee brand known for exceptional quality and innovation. We are launching a brand-new Distribution Division focused on expanding our market presence across Southern California (SoCal) with both our premium Roasted Coffee and exciting Ready-to-Drink (RTD) beverages. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outbound Call Center Sales Executive to be the driving force behind this new division's growth. This is a foundational role reporting directly to executive leadership, offering significant commission potential and career advancement as the division scales. The Role: Strategic Outbound Sales You will be responsible for a strategic blend of outbound sales activities across various segments, utilizing strong cold-calling, relationship-building, and account management skills. Your sales territory will be focused on the Southern California region , with a strategic emphasis on building relationships near our existing SUR Coffee retail locations. Core
Responsibilities
& Time Allocation: Business Coffee Membership Program 70% Cultivate relationships with local businesses (offices, gyms, hospitality) near our retail stores to sell bulk roasted coffee for office/lounge use. Goal: High volume, long-term membership accounts. Restaurant Coffee Wholesale 10% Target nearby restaurants and cafes for their daily coffee needs (drip, espresso). Goal: Secure high-margin, recurring wholesale contracts. Open Wholesalers (RTD Focus) 10% Conduct cold outreach to regional open food and beverage wholesalers/brokers to secure distribution contracts specifically for our innovative Ready-to- Drink (RTD) beverage line. M &A Distributor Rep Program 10% Serve as the commission-based liaison for Merchandising and Acquisition efforts, including following up on leads generated by third-party reps or potential small-scale distribution partnership leads.
What You Will Do
- Execute high-volume outbound calls, emails, and strategic outreach campaigns daily.
- Master the sales pitch for four distinct market segments, tailoring the value proposition for each.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline records, and customer communication using the company CRM.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and fulfillment.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of proven success in an Outbound/Inside Sales role, preferably within Food & Beverage, CPG, or related distribution fields.
- Exceptional cold-calling skills and a history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets.
- Deep familiarity with the Southern California business and/or wholesale market is a plus.
- A "hunter" mentality, highly organized, and disciplined in time management across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
