Overview We are a medical practice located in the Tampa Bay Area specializing in providing prosthetics to amputees. We are seeking a Patient Advocate marketing associate to assist in expanding our growing practice in Hillsboro and Polk counties. Candidates should reside in either of these counties. Being fluent in both English and Spanish is a requirement for this position. Patient Advocates cultivate relationships with physicians and other referral sources, promoting the services of our company to acquire patient referrals. PA's work directly with patients and physicians and are responsible for coordinating patient care throughout the process of getting a prosthesis and subsequent follow up to ensure patients are receiving the highest quality care and support throughout their medical journey. This role is non-clinical and the PA is not responsible for any assessments or treatment of the patient. As such, this job does not require specific licensure or education. Duties: - Marketing physicians and other referral sources - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care - Assist patients in understanding the process and their treatment options - Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times - Assist in advocating for patients rights and needs within the healthcare system - Educate patients on healthcare resources and services available to them Skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Fluency in both English and Spanish - Ability to form relationships with new referral sources - Great communication and ability to build rapport with people - Being compassionate and caring to others - Ability and willingness to learn new skills - Strong willingness to help patients get the treatment they need This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
