Job Overview Dave's Tree Service, a respected and steadily growing tree care company serving Moore County and the surrounding areas, is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager & Sales Arborist. Key Responsibilities Operations Management * Coordinate daily job schedules between the office and field crews * Assign appropriate crews, equipment, and materials for each project * Communicate clearly with crew leaders regarding job scope, site access, and client expectations * Review completed work for safety, quality, and client satisfaction * Track production, monitor efficiency, and make scheduling adjustments as needed * Help develop and refine company standard operating procedures (SOPs) Sales & Estimating * Meet with new and existing clients to assess tree care needs and site conditions * Evaluate tree health, structure, and safety to provide professional recommendations * Prepare detailed, accurate estimates following company standards * Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and client communications * Collaborate with office staff to ensure smooth transitions from sales to production Customer Relations * Represent Dave's Tree Service with professionalism, honesty, and expert knowledge * Advise clients on pruning, removals, and plant health care (PHC) services * Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle * Address concerns promptly to ensure complete customer satisfaction and repeat business Qualifications * Experience in tree care operations, arboriculture sales, or crew management preferred * Strong understanding of tree species, pruning standards, and removal techniques * Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently * ISA Certification or equivalent arboriculture experience is a plus * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Compensation & Benefits * Full-time, year-round position * Competitive base pay plus commission opportunities * $5,000 sign-on bonus * Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance after 90 days * Seven paid holidays per year * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Benefits: * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off * Relocation assistance * Career growth and advancement opportunities Why Work With Us At Dave 's Tree Service, we take pride in doing things the right way-- safely, professionally, and with respect for our clients, our team, and the environment.
