About Us We are a leading marine construction company specializing in high-quality docks, seawalls, boat lifts, and waterfront improvements. Known for our craftsmanship, integrity, and 5-star customer service, we are growing fast and looking to add a motivated Sales Associate to our team. Position Overview The Sales Associate is responsible for driving new business, building strong client relationships, and guiding customers through the full sales process-- from initial inquiry to proposal delivery. This role requires someone who is organized, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Respond to inbound leads and follow up with prospective clients in a timely manner. * Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs and gather job specifications. * Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for docks, seawalls, boat lifts, and repair services. * Educate customers on product options, materials, permitting requirements, and project timelines. * Maintain accurate notes and documentation in CRM/Project Management software. * Assist the permitting team with required site information when needed. * Communicate project details clearly with internal teams (permitting, operations, and crews). * Attend networking events, boat shows, and industry functions as needed. * Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales cycle. Requirements * Prior sales experience preferred (especially construction or marine industry). * Strong knowledge of docks, seawalls, boat lifts, or willingness to learn quickly. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to read basic construction plans or obtain measurements on-site. * Comfortable working outdoors for site visits. * Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Experience with CRM or project management software is a plus (Buildertrend, QuickBooks, etc.).
