So read on, and consider a rewarding career with Sonic Automotive, Inc. * OTE expected to be 60-120k annually based on performance Job Description * Our Salespeople welcome and assist customers with professionalism and warmth, helping them identify their needs and recommending appropriate vehicles * Duties and Responsibilities: * Actively listen and ask thoughtful questions to fully understand each customer 's preferences * Demonstrate vehicle features and performance, including coordinating test drives * Respond promptly and professionally to online and phone inquiries * Collaborate with team members to deliver a best-in-class experience for all guests --whether they're ready to purchase or just exploring options * Deliver vehicles to new owners by ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle 's operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty * Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages loyalty to the brand and the dealership * Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers * Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product * Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor Qualifications * High school diploma or the equivalent. * Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. * Valid in-state driver's license. * Professional personal appearance. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards. * All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. * All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. * All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
