Supervisory Responsibilities_ * No one * Duties/Responsibilities * Service customers by meeting customer needs * Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work scheduleEducate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally * Establishmaintain lasting contacts/relationships with strategic partners and end-users * Attend pre-bid job site visits * Work with estimator and/or utilizing Accubid to allot material and labor cost to each project * Acquire quotes from vendors * Set final pricing on spreadsheet and finalize pricing of project * Prepare, follow-up, and close proposals * Attend job turnover meetings with Project Manager and/or Foreman before the job starts * Goal: Maintain a report of bid vs. actual within 5% under/over * Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule * Attend sales and companywide meetings * Cross-sell with other divisions * Any other related duties that may be assigned * Required Skills/Abilities * Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills * Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team * Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customers * Detail-oriented * Positive attitude * Electrical experience and product knowledge * Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Email) * Education and Experience * Two years of related field experience required * High School Diploma or equivalent * Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time * Company Culture: * Purpose: To empower people through Christian Values to create a better life. * Vision: To be the innovative leader in electrical and building technology throughout the communities we serve. * Mission: By inspiring our people to provide enjoyable customer solutions with confidence and reliability. * The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
