How will you be compensated: * $100,000-$150,000 Base Salary * Uncapped New Business Commission Structure * Yearly Renewal Business Commissions * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance plans. We cover 98% of the premiums for most individual plans * Free Employee Assistance Program * Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Time, and Flexible Vacation Time * 401(k) with 50% match Who you are: * You are a self-starter, sociable, innovative and goal oriented * You drive towards results without sacrificing quality * You excel in reaching goals while remaining accountable to agency Core Values * Do the Right Thing * Love What You Do * Always Be Improving * Go The Extra Mile * Build Collaborative Relationships * You shine when selling a highly complex work product * You hold a sincere belief in people-driven decision making within a business environment * You have an analytical mindset with the ability to understand risk management principles and assess clients' insurance needs What you will do: * Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardware * Tenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sources * Work closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Commercial Lines coverages as well as industry knowledge, laws/regulations and best practices * Successfully manage the full sales cycle including: * Lead generation * Prospecting/Outreach * Negotiating * Proposing coverage * Closing with C-Suite level executives * Renewal process * Create trusted partnerships with business owners and executives, aiding them in implementing risk management practices to bolster success of their firms * Continually learn and react within a constantly changing market * Pursue continuing education opportunities that support growing expertise Your Qualifications: * Four-year college degree or relevant work experience * 3-5 years of Outside Sales/Cold Calling experience * Knowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously manage * Proficiency in software applications commonly used in an office environment * Property and Casualty license or attainment within 90 days (employer sponsored)
