Full description of the position

Sales Associate The Sales Associate will manage a nationwide portfolio of customer accounts, establishing healthy long-term relationships with customers in our growing client base. Image Pointe is known for providing excellent customer service, rapid response, and keen attention to detail in meeting the needs of our customers. Successful applicants will be fast learners with a track record of success in building customer relationships, managing detail and complex order processes over time, and consistently pursuing and achieving personal and professional goals. This role has great opportunities for portfolio growth and significant earning potential for the right applicant. A portfolio of active accounts will be provided after training, with company marketing generating sales leads as sales associate works to generate additional leads and referrals. Work in family-friendly office by phone and email, with some paid travel to meet clients at conventions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Customer retention: Service existing accounts with excellence, developing meaningful relationships to retain and grow your customer base. Successful associates will maintain 85% client retention (over two years) with minimum 5-10% avg. growth in current customer sales per year. * Customer growth: Develop new accounts by proactively pursuing prospective leads, fielding and servicing inbound leads from company marketing, and developing referrals from your current client base. Successful associates will develop 5-10 new customer accounts per month. * Customer service: Provide excellent, best-in-class customer service. Successful associates will see customer experience scores above 4.5 (on a 5-point scale) and at least 70% market share from current customer base. * Customer communication: Maintain accurate customer database in our CRM, including clear and consistent documentation on customer contacts, lead development, and ongoing communication with customers. Keep meticulous notes on orders in process and deal stage to allow for client management at scale (defined as 350-500 clients, 1[please apply online] orders per year). * Responsiveness: Respond to sales inquiries in a rapid manner. Successful associates will respond to all inquiries from customers in 24 hours or less. * Master product knowledge on a wide range of products to make recommendations for meeting client needs * Work effectively on the sales team to establish a spirit of mutual support and camaraderie * Work effectively with Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Marketing Manager to accomplish set goals as well as special assigned tasks and projects Effective candidates will excel in: * Communication - Effective written and verbal communication within sales team, cross-departmentally and with vendors, to ensure work is completed with a high level of quality and efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS * 5 years' minimum experience in sales or customer service role, preferably with nationwide customer base and B2B sales experience. * 2-year associates degree required, 4-year university degree preferred. * Track record of excellence in building relationships, managing detail at scale, and consistently hitting personal and professional goals. * Excellent communication skills. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Adaptability in using a variety of different software programs, CRM experience preferred.
