Position Overview Erb's Landscaping is a highly reputable Design Build Landscaping company operating throughout the Pocono region since 1999. We are seeking a dynamic experienced Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with sales experience in the Landscaping and Hardscaping industry. This is a Hybrid position requiring in office hours, site visit travel in our service area with some flexibility for WFH after probationary period. This is a part time position with the following initial structure; in office hours with sales calls for the first 3 months of the position is a paid probationary period, spent learning the position, our company SOP's along with our sales software and process. It is expected that the hours during the probationary time will be 35 - 40 hours per week. Commissions will be paid on all sales made during and after the probationary period. After the probationary period, the heaviest workflow for this position is from early Spring, where the expectation of hours is approximately 30-35 per week until the production season ends in Early November. Winter hours are lighter at approximately 15-20 hours per week. In this position you will have access to our full-time in-house Designer to aid in visual material for client presentations. Phone, Chromebook and all required app subscriptions are provided. Access to Company vehicle for site and sales visits is also provided. Duties: - Independently travel to job sites to perform site visits and gather all pertinent project information using knowledge base and standard industry tools and techniques as they apply to Erb's Landscaping SOP's. - Lead Management and Execution - taking in-bound leads from initial contact through the estimating process into the sold stage then managing client communication and expectation during the production phase to the satisfactory completion of the project. - Work closely with the production department and administrative support to ensure clear direction and communication for every project sold until project completion. - Must be accessible to clients and the production department within the professional window to facilitate communication for client and installation management. - Ability to sell a full line of products and services knowledgeably along with enhancements to upgrade installation. Position Requirements: - Proven experience in sales, preferably in Landscaping/Hardscaping - Strong written and verbal skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets - Proficiency in Google Workplace - Presence at a standing in-person meeting every Wednesday at 7:15 AM during the production season, roughly April through October. - Presence at a standing in-person Sales meeting during the production season. Compensation: Base salary of 32k provided plus 3% - 5% commission paid upon completion of sold projects (commission percentage based on type of project sold). This position is being offered with room to grow into a full time position without limit.
