DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport, a full service hotel is looking to hire a strong, "go getter," for the position of Sales Manager. Salary will depend on knowledge and experience. Some tasks to be performed, as a Sales Manager, includes and not limited to the following: * Achieve and exceed individual and team annual goals as established by the annual Marketing Plan and working Action Plans. * Acts as a strong advocate for both the guest and the hotel to create a win-win relationship * Develop and continue a positive professional relationship with current clientele. * Solicit new business for the hotel; - catering, group rooms, conventions, conferences, meetings, etc. * Solicit new business via, and not limited to, sales calls either by phone, personal visits or site visits, emails, etc. * Assist with booking events and group rooms with new and existing clientele. * Contract and fulfill the needs of clientele with signed agreements. * Follow-up with clients before and after a proposal/contract is sent out. This position is salary non-exempt position; working hours may exceed 45 hours per week with the expectation of working holidays, nights, and weekends.
