Position Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Roelens Vacations plays a key role in expanding our portfolio by developing relationships with prospective vacation rental homeowners. This position focuses on educating owners about the benefits of professional short-term rental management and supporting them through the initial stages of the sales process. The ideal candidate is friendly, consultative, and eager to grow within a reputable and established brand. This role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission. Key Responsibilities * Proactively engage prospective homeowners through outbound calls , email outreach, referrals, and inbound inquiries * Serve as the first point of contact for homeowners interested in short-term rental management * Conduct discovery conversations to understand owner goals , property features, and income expectations * Educate homeowners on Roelens Vacations ' services, technology, local market expertise, and revenue optimization strategies * Qualify leads and schedule property evaluations or consultations with the Business Development team * Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect activity in the CRM * Follow up consistently to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline * Schedule weekly meet-and-greets with real estate agents to build and maintain strong relationships. * Collaborate with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure a seamless owner experience * Stay informed on local short-term rental regulations , market trends, and competitive landscape in Southwest Florida Qualifications & Skills * 1 -3+ years of experience in sales, business development, real estate, hospitality, or property management * Strong communication skills with confidence in phone and virtual conversations * Relationship-focused mindset with a consultative approach to sales * Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time-management skills * Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools * Knowledge of vacation rentals , real estate investing, or hospitality is a plus * Local market knowledge of Southwest Florida is highly desirable What We Offer * Competitive base salary plus commission or performance incentives * Opportunity to grow within an established, industry-leading vacation rental company * Training, mentorship, and access to proven systems and tools * Supportive, team-oriented culture with a focus on long-term success * Ability to work with premium properties and engaged homeowners Why Roelens Vacations?
