Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, polished, and driven sales professional to join our team in the luxury residential home technology industry. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship-based sales and understands how to work with discerning homeowners, designers, builders, and architects. As part of our Sales Team, you will represent a portfolio of premium smart home solutions, including audio-video, lighting, shading, networking, and control systems, guiding clients from initial consultation through project completion. Success in this role requires professionalism, technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-touch projects with confidence. Responsibilities * Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services * Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored technology solutions that best fit their needs * Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business * Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting and networking, building rapport for new business * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team success * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction * Stay informed about product features, industry trends, and competitors to effectively communicate value propositions Qualifications * Experienced Professionals in the Luxury Residential technology industry only * Experience working on construction sites, AV, Lighting, Shading, Control, and Networks. * systems * Strong technical knowledge of residential automation systems, home networking, security systems, and audiovisual solutions. * Experience with project management and familiarity with installation processes in a residential setting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients * Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn new skills * In person, Full Time, 40/hour work week * Background Check, and Clean Driving Record * Computer Proficiency. Compensation Details This compensation package is designed for sales professionals selling high-end luxury residential technology systems valued between $100,000 and $500,000. The structure balances competitive base pay with strong commission incentives to attract and retain top talent in the DMV luxury market. Target Market: Luxury residential homeowners, architects, builders, and interior designers in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets. Projects include comprehensive smart home systems featuring Lutron, Ketra, Crestron, Control4, and Savant platforms. Sales Cycle: 3-12 months typical, with longer nurturing periods for architect and builder relationships. Compensation Structure Base Salary A competitive base salary ensures income stability during longer sales cycles typical in luxury residential markets. Mid-Level (2-5 years) $65,000 - $80,000 Senior (5+ years, proven luxury) $80,000 - $95,000 Commission Commission is calculated on Gross Profit (project revenue minus direct costs including equipment, labor, and subcontractor expenses). This approach protects company margins while rewarding profitable sales. Additional details can be provided upon request.
