Vinera Wine Society is a small and growing European wine importer and direct to consumer business based in Oceanside, California. We work with family owned wineries across Europe and focus on creating meaningful wine experiences through curated shipments, wine clubs, tastings, and travel. This role is a core support position that sits at the center of our sales operations and client experience. You will work closely with our sales and marketing manager and office team to make sure our clients are taken care of from order to delivery and beyond. Your day to day work will help keep our sales team organized, our wine club running smoothly, and our customers happy and coming back. This is an in office role based in Oceanside and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a small team where your work truly matters. The role is primarily inbound and service focused, with the opportunity to support light outbound follow ups such as check in calls or emails when appropriate. This position owns day to day customer retention tasks while supporting a manager who owns and tracks KPIs. Key Responsibilities Sales and Marketing Manager Support * Support the sales team with samples, special requests, and coordination * Assist the sales and marketing manager with projects, events, and planning * Help coordinate wine tastings, travel related logistics, and internal initiatives * Support basic marketing coordination and follow ups Customer Service and Retention * Serve as a primary point of contact for client questions and requests * Proactively resolve delivery and order issues * Follow up after shipments to ensure a positive client experience * Handle light outbound follow ups such as check in emails or calls when needed * Own day to day customer retention tasks and support KPI tracking Wine Club Subscription Management * Manage wine club enrollments, changes, pauses, and cancellations * Coordinate inventory allocation for club shipments * Manage billing cycles and ensure successful payments * Coordinate packaging, inserts, tasting notes, and shipping logistics * Create and organize educational wine tasting cards for club selections Operations and Systems * Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems * Help improve and document client service and fulfillment processes * Support basic reporting related to orders, club activity, and customer issues Ideal Candidate * Reliable team player who takes ownership of their work * Highly organized and detail oriented * Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a small business environment * Enjoys working with customers and solving problems * Clear and professional communicator * Interest in wine and willingness to learn * Comfortable using tools such as Excel, CRM systems, and basic social media Helpful Skills * Bilingual English and Spanish * Experience in wine, hospitality, subscriptions, or client service roles Benefits * Health and dental insurance * Basic Life insurance * 401k * Flexible paid time off * Supportive and respectful work environment * Wine and product discounts * Long term opportunity to grow with the company Compensation * Full time position at $25 per hour Schedule * Monday through Friday * 9am to 5pm * In office in Oceanside Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * On-the-job training * Paid time off Work Location: In person
