# General Summary:

• # The Associate Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth through new markets, out-of-APR business, and emerging opportunities. This role combines people leadership with strategic business development, focused on identifying, prioritizing, and scaling new revenue streams. # This position leads a team of Account Managers responsible for business development efforts and smaller-package opportunities, while partnering closely with sales leadership, engineering, and key vendors to support market expansion and long-term growth initiatives. This role does not carry traditional account ownership, but plays a critical role in shaping strategy, enabling execution, and accelerating results across the organization. #

Key Responsibilities

:

• ## Coaches, mentors, develops and leads assigned team members
• ## Plans and executes regular one on one with assigned team members
• ## In collaboration with Sales Manager
• ## Creates development plan for each team member
• ## Builds annual sales forecast for assigned team
• ## Builds market plans
• ## Executes company initiatives
• ## Participate in and potentially lead sales meetings
• ## Participates in responsibility for sales and marketing of Rockwell Automation and Hoffman product lines
• ## Maximizes participation and relationship with members of Affiliated Distributors (AD)
• ## Builds strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders # Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• ## Intrinsic motivation to learn, grow and assume greater responsibility.
• ## Desire to coach, mentor, develop and lead others.
• ## Bachelor 's degree in technical or business field.
• A combination of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered in place of a bachelor 's degree.
• ## Minimum 5 years sales, product and customer service experience
• ## Excellent listening skills
• ## Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Working Conditions

:

• Normal office environment; frequent daily travel in assigned territory, some overnight travel.
