Location: Laguna Beach, CA Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $52,000 base + commission About the Role We are seeking a polished, experienced Gallery Sales Associate to represent CULTERRA, engage visitors, and drive fine art sales in a beautiful Laguna Beach gallery setting. This role is ideal for a confident, relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for art and client experience. Key Responsibilities Greet visitors and create a welcoming, professional gallery environment Present available works and educate clients on the artist, creative process, and editions Guide clients through the full sales cycle, from consultation to closing Proactively identify and cultivate new leads, including collectors, interior designers, and trade partners Maintain relationships with collectors through follow-ups and CRM documentation Ensure artwork is displayed thoughtfully and the gallery is visually polished Support gallery events such as openings, private dinners, and collector receptions Independently manage gallery operations during assigned shifts, including weekends and select evenings Qualifications 5+ years of fine art gallery sales experience (Candidates with luxury retail, high-end design, or premium product sales experience may be considered) Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals Self-starter with a personable, client-focused approach Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Professional, polished presence with the ability to connect with collectors and designers Strong passion for art and ability to speak knowledgeably about fine art photography Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently Schedule & Compensation Flexible schedule with weekend and some evening availability required Competitive base salary plus commission on sales Opportunity to represent a growing fine art brand in an inspiring Laguna Beach gallery Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: [please apply online] The pay transparency policy is available here: [please apply online] transp%20EnglishformattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
