Description: Suburban Surgical a Wheeling, IL base manufacturing company of Stainless Steel Veterinary equipment has immediate positions for Sales Representatives. Base salary is $45,000 - $55,000 base plus commission. Responsibilities: *Veterinary Medical Capital Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for new business in specific market segment, documenting prospect data into our contact management database. *Manage and maintain customer accounts. *Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors and peers. *Effectively uses internet and other resources to better understand client's industry and business needs. *Provides quotes and follow up to close. *Conducts high call volumes to targeted customer segments. *Attend local and national trade shows as necessary. Requirements: *Self motivated, detail oriented. * Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills. *Desire and aptitude to learn the technical advantages of the product lines. *Ability to close sales by selling the value of the features and benefits as they relate to the customer needs. *Insure a high level of customer service and quality sales presentations. *Maintain high standards and professional leadership. *Work well with management and subordinates. *Adhere to and administer the sales policies and guidelines by representing the company in an ethical, moral and professional manner. *Ability to build and maintain work standards. *Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers clients and customers. *Previous experience in veterinary industry a plus, but will train the right people.
