Job Title: Membership Manager About Hazy Mountain Vineyards Hazy Mountain Vineyards is a premier winery nestled in the heart of Afton. Known for its exquisite wine and stunning views, our venue offers a beautiful Tasting Room, an elegant 8-bedroom on-site villa, and a large-scale event venue perfect for weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings. We are seeking a Membership Manager to lead and manage our membership program, refine sales strategies, and drive growth in membership revenue, with a focus on member experience, retention, and exclusive events. Position Overview The Membership Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Membership Program at Hazy Mountain Vineyards, including training and support of tasting room staff and managers. This role will develop and execute strategies to increase membership growth, engagement, and revenue, while ensuring a premium experience for existing members. Key Responsibilities Membership Program Management * Manage membership management software, including billing, pickups, shipping, and member communications. * Respond to prospective and active member inquiries, including membership education and benefit support. * Maintain accurate member records, segmentation, and reporting to support retention and growth efforts. Member Experience & Retention * Ensure member satisfaction through regular communication at events, in the tasting room, and via email outreach throughout the year. * Proactively build relationships with members to increase loyalty, retention, and participation. * Handle member issues with professionalism and urgency to uphold brand standards. Member Events & Engagement * Coordinate and execute Membership Events (member dinners, pickup parties, exclusive tastings, etc.). * Partner with hospitality and events teams to ensure seamless event planning and exceptional delivery. Training & Education * Oversee the Hazy Mountain Wine Education Program, including: * Staff training * Member and public educational sessions/classes * Collaborating on social media educational content * Support tasting room staff in membership promotion and enrollment techniques. Tasting Room Support & Leadership * Assist in the tasting room with staff management, coaching, and service standards when needed. * Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture. Inventory & Compliance * Support inventory management and ordering of wine/beer from the processing plant. * Maintain full compliance with Department of Agriculture and ABC regulations. Marketing & Growth Support * Work closely with marketing to create targeted campaigns that drive brand awareness and increase membership growth. * Monitor member feedback, market trends, and competitor activity to support improvements in membership strategies. * Analyze data and results to identify opportunities for process improvements and strategic adjustments. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support * Partner with operations, catering, and event services to ensure seamless execution of member events and experiences. * Collaborate with tasting room leadership to ensure membership standards and service align with the Hazy Mountain brand. * Support leadership initiatives to enhance guest experience, customer service strategy, and operational efficiency. Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization * Continuously assess and refine membership processes, systems, and workflows to streamline operations and improve the member experience. * Implement best practices for reporting, lead tracking, and pipeline management to ensure consistent membership growth. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in hospitality leadership, membership programs, sales, or related industries. * Experience managing and motivating teams with a track record of achieving growth targets. * Strong knowledge of membership tools, sales systems, and data analytics. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and elevated service standards. * Passion for wine and hospitality, with ability to communicate the Hazy Mountain brand story effectively. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field. * Winery, vineyard, or similar venue experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
