Job starts at 17 dollars an hour! Willing to pay more based off of optical experience! Experience preferred but not required. PTO, bonuses based off of sales, paid holidays, health insurance, and retirement matching are all a part of the benefit package. Candidate will be eligible for benefits after 90 day probation period. This position mainly consists of working with patients once they have finished their eye exam. We offer a wide range of eyeglass frames to choose from with midrange to high end lens options. You will help patients find frames that fit properly and choose lens options that are in line with their needs and the doctors recommendations. You will place orders for eyewear and contact lenses, as well as bill vision insurance for comprehensive eye exams, eyewear, and contact lenses. When needed you will help adjust frames for our patients to help them get the best fit possible. We are a local small business with 7 employees and we cross train to help have coverage if someone is out. Front desk tasks will be the first focus of cross training. Some of those tasks include checking in patients for their exam, collecting insurance information, inputting patient information into the chart, and answering phone calls. Our goal is to provide each patient with the best care. The customer experience is one of the most important things to us! For those candidates with optical experience, we use Revolution EHR as our patient management system and Weave for patient communications.
