Job Summary We're seeking an experienced and outstanding member of the sales staff. The Sales Administrator position is responsible for providing administrative support for a high-tech optics company in the sales department (B-to-B sales). The position primarily manages order processing and shipping logistics, with other support activities as needed. You will collaborate with nearly every department in the company to deploy our disruptive products around the world. Responsibilities * Provide exceptional customer service in customer order processing in a B-to-B sales department * Data entry for Customer Relations Management (CRM) software * Manage shipping logistics ensuring all required paperwork is in order before clearing products for shipping * Coordinate convention logistics, travel, and shipping * Other administrative duties where time permits Skills * Minimum 5 years related work experience * Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams and Outlook) * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills * Comfort with a high degree of autonomy in conducting daily work and building new processes where needed * US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (green card) required * Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Nice to have * Basic understanding of sales processes and techniques * Experience with QuickBooks accounting software * Familiarity with Jira project management software, or Odoo CRM software * Experience in the optics industry or related high-tech industry * Strong analytical skills What's great in the job?
