Job Summary Orbit Consulting, a sales and business consulting firm with deep industry partnerships, is hiring a Business Development Representative who can explain AT&T Fiber's network architecture to residential customers. Our Canoga Park Business Development Representative focuses on gigabit deployments through consultative sales approaches that build trust and drive conversions. As a Business Development Representative, your primary role is to sell, generate excitement, and qualified demand for AT&T Fiber. The Business Development Representative will manage community touchpoints to create a sustainable pipeline of interested, informed homeowners. You'll directly support and accelerate the broader sales organization's ability to meet its goals by upselling AT&T's products to homeowners. Core Functions of the Business Development Representative * Increase Fiber sales across the territory by educating residents on AT&T Fiber's speed consistency, upload symmetry, and lowlatency benefits. * Deliver structured Fiber consultations that translate technical specifications into salesready recommendations for household usage. * Analyze resident connectivity patterns to match them with the appropriate AT&T Fiber speed tier and equipment configuration that maximizes sales value. * Support installation readiness by coordinating activation schedules and ensuring residents understand equipment delivery and setup expectations. * Present AT&T incentives effectively by outlining promotional offers, upgrade credits, and billing structures with clarity and transparency. * Maintain organized sales records by validating customer details and ensuring all documentation aligns with AT&T compliance requirements. Education & Experience Needed for the Business Development Representative * High School Diploma or GED, with preference for candidates who have explored business fundamentals, marketing strategy, or communication studies. * Experience in sales, retail, or customer support where meeting performance metrics and delivering professional service were core responsibilities. * Skill in simplifying technical Fiber features,including bandwidth capacity and WiFi optimization, into compelling salesready value statements. * Experience supporting sales workflows by organizing outreach activity, documenting resident needs, and ensuring enrollment details align with campaign standards. Preferred Skills for the Business Development Representative * Supports activations with organized sales documentation and follow-up discipline. * Confidently handles upgrade discussions to maximize sales value per interaction. * Applies consultative sales skills when guiding customers through choices. * Translates technical details into simple conversations that customers understand.
