Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Sales Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing residential plumbing systems, performing approved repairs, and presenting repair, upgrade, and replacement options to homeowners. You will not be responsible for major installations--our dedicated install crew will handle full replacements when sold. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication skills, solid plumbing knowledge, and the ability to confidently explain issues and recommend solutions. Ideal candidates are professional, fluent in English, and skilled at building trust with homeowners.

Duties

• Perform diagnostic assessments on residential plumbing systems , including water heaters, fixtures, valves, drains, and water lines
• Accurately identify plumbing issues and complete approved repairs efficiently
• Conduct routine plumbing maintenance and inspections
• Clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to homeowners
• Present repair, upgrade, and replacement options based on system condition
• Upsell plumbing products and services when appropriate (e.g., water heaters, filtration, pressure regulators)
• Maintain a professional, friendly, and trustworthy demeanor with customers
• Use company software/apps to document diagnostics, photos, recommendations, and job notes
• Coordinate with the install team when replacements or major upgrades are sold
• Follow all safety protocols, plumbing codes, and company standards on every job site Experience &

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential plumbing experience
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair common plumbing issues
• Experience with routine plumbing maintenance and inspections
• Strong sales or upselling experience in a service-based environment is a plus
• Comfortable communicating directly with homeowners and presenting multiple options
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and best practices
