A global machinery manufacturing company is currently seeking a motivated Sales Coordinator to join their facility in the southwestern Columbus, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. Sales Coordinator Responsibilities Include: * Plan and schedule project activities, and coordinate with Sales, Design, and other internal departments to ensure accurate delivery of products * Create and maintain goals and deadlines for customer projects- provide engineering documentation, coordinate project timelines, and address design and quality issues as needed * Assist with budget preparation, and negotiate cost and pricing with customers and suppliers as needed * Act as a point of contact for customers regarding project status and quality assurance matters * Review all documentation for accuracy, address any quality issues, and approve corrective action activities * Provide very occasional support onsite at customer locations * Other duties as assigned Sales Coordinator Requirements Include: * Higher education or training in an Engineering or similar technical field preferred * At least 1-3 years' professional work experience in industrial machinery implementation, project coordination, and sales support preferred * Japanese language ability is a plus but not required * Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications * Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving; ability to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously * Strong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment * This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
