Full description of the position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Wholesale Sales Representative / Account Executive to join our showroom team. In this role, you will manage existing wholesale accounts while actively pursuing new retail buyers and stores to expand our national distribution network. As a key member of our sales team, you'll present collections to clients, secure pre-book and at- once orders , and build strong client relationships that drive consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate feels confident working with clients both in person and on the phone, and thrives in a B2B sales environment. Sales experience in the fashion industry is preferred, but not required. We are searching for candidates ready to start ASAP. Company Intro: The 70 Thirty Showroom is a dynamic, high-energy fashion showroom specializing in wholesale apparel and men's streetwear sales. Our close-knit team designs, produces, and distributes cutting-edge brands including Sugarhill, Gala Original, Junk Lab, and Melee. We work directly with retail buyers and store owners nationwide , helping shape the future of urban fashion. Job Responsibilities: * Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale apparel accounts , maintaining strong relationships with retail buyers and store owners. * Travel as needed for sales road trips and trade shows to maximize client engagement and growth. * Present seasonal collections and product lines to clients, highlighting features, trends, and value. * Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets each collection & season. * Recommend products strategically based on client history, market trends, and sales goals. * Conduct daily outreach, including warm and cold calls , to identify new B2B sales opportunities. * Consistently pursue and onboard new accounts within assigned territories to expand distribution. * Maintain regular client communication through weekly check-ins, showroom appointments, and trade show visits. * Provide outstanding customer service , resolving order, payment, and shipping issues promptly. * Track sales performance, client history, and account activity in Google Workspace tools. * Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payments from accounts. * Prepare sales reports, expense reports, and account updates for management. Qualifications: * Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals. * Natural relationship builder -- confident interacting with retail buyers, store owners, and showroom clients. * Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development (wholesale apparel or fashion sales preferred, but not required). * Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. * Organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. * Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and comfortable analyzing sales data. * Team player who can also work independently and collaborate across departments. * Knowledge of fashion culture, streetwear trends, and customer preferences is a strong plus. * Willingness to travel occasionally for road trips, client visits, and trade shows. Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Fashion or a related field (preferred) * Fashion sales experience (encouraged but not required). * Wholesale sales experience (encouraged but not required). * Experience working in the Fashion/Apparel Industry (preferred) * Sales experience required. Compensation: This is a base-plus-commission role with uncapped earning potential. Successful Wholesale Sales Representatives in this position typically earn between $70,000 and $130,000 annually based on performance.
