We are looking to hire an insurance advisor As an insurance advisor at MercyOne, you will be responsible Position Title: Insurance Advisor Department: GHG Davenport Schedule: * Full time 1.0 (40 hours per week) * Day Shift General Requirements * Training Preferred: Medical Terminology, ICD-CM Coding, training/experience, experience in billing, accounts receivable, insurance and pre-authorization verification. * Special Training: Word processing and other Windows-based computer applications, experience in billing, insurance verification, customer service& front desk registration. * More than 1 year experience required Education: * 2-year college program or equivalent experience * Field Of Study: Finance, Business, or related field Colleagues of MercyOne Health System enjoy competitive compensation with a full benefits package and opportunity for growth throughout the system!
