HVAC Equipment Sales Specialist Location: Concord, NH Pay: $50,000 -$58,000 base DOE+ commission, OTE minimum $180k as long as minimum targets are met. Benefits * Medical insurance with company contribution (individual and family), FSA and HSA options * Vision and dental insurance * Basic Life and AD&D * Long-Term Disability * 401(k) with company match * 80 hours of vacation (accrued) * 40 hours of sick time * 9 paid holidays, including floating holidays * Employee Assistance Program * Discounts on home, auto, renter's, and recreational vehicle insurance * Discounts on company products and services * Optional group insurance: disability, accident, life, cancer, critical illness, supplemental dental * Take-home company vehicle What You Will Be Doing * Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients. * Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers select HVAC systems, generators, and energy-system equipment that best fit their needs. * Deliver exceptional communication and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention. * Identify, prospect, and qualify new equipment opportunities across assigned territories (MA, NH, ME). * Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and needs analysis to proposals, negotiation, and closing. * Work collaboratively with operations, installation, and technical teams to ensure accurate proposals and seamless project delivery. * Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to expand business reach. * Create and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with growth targets. * Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot), including pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting. * Provide leadership with market insights, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs. * Support multi-year growth goals through consistent forecasting and reporting. * Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, Chief Growth Officer, and field operations teams to ensure project success. Qualifications * 5+ years of outside sales experience with equipment or large-ticket solutions (HVAC, generators, energy systems, industrial equipment preferred). * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. * Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. * Ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and fuel-system components. * Proven ability to uncover customer pain points, articulate value, and close deals effectively. * Strong autonomy, organization, and follow-through across multiple accounts and priorities. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Willingness to travel regionally and adapt schedule to customer needs. * Ability to lift 25 lbs and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
