Sales Associate (Full-Time Preferred) Bluegrass Furniture Outlet - Lexington, KY Bluegrass Furniture Outlet is growing, and we're looking for a motivated, hands-on Sales Associate to join our team. This is an all-in-one role that combines sales, customer service, furniture handling, and showroom setup , with strong earning potential through commission. We're looking for someone who is technologically inclined , comfortable working with customer financing , and able to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. Responsibilities * Assist customers on the showroom floor and help them find the right furniture for their needs * Close sales and earn commission based on performance * Process customer orders and handle customer financing applications using in-store systems * Clearly explain financing options to customers * Help unload furniture trucks and move merchandise safely * Assemble furniture (sofas, beds, etc.) * Set up and maintain clean, attractive showroom displays * Use point-of-sale systems, tablets, or computers for sales and inventory * Work as a team to meet store goals and deliver excellent customer service Requirements * Sales or retail experience preferred (furniture sales a plus, but not required) * Technologically comfortable (POS systems, financing platforms, tablets, basic computer skills) * Ability to learn and process customer financing accurately * Comfortable with physical work (lifting, moving, assembling furniture) * Strong communication and customer service skills * Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented * Weekend availability required * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Schedule * Full-time preferred (part-time may be considered) * Weekend availability required Pay & Benefits * Hourly pay plus commission * Commission potential increases with experience and performance * Employee discount on furniture * Opportunity to grow with a locally owned business Why Work With Us? * Large, high-traffic showroom with a wide selection * Hands-on, team-oriented work environment * Technology-driven sales with financing options * Strong earning potential through commission Location: Lexington, KY Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Work Location: In person
