Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that assists customers with their needs, demonstrates product features, and ensures the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. The primary merchandise is footwear for men, women and children, and the expectation is that we assist the customers in trying on the shoes after measuring their feet. We have a well established training program to prepare staff to perform these tasks efficiently and accurately. * Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges * Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are well-presented * Assist with inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate stock counting using retail math skills * Handle cashiering duties with precision, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end * Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and maintaining phone etiquette Requirements * Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; a passion for helping customers is essential * Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively * Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team collaboration * Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and promotions * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations * Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally * Willingness to learn about merchandising techniques, product demos, and upselling strategies This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within a fast- paced retail environment.
