Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Sales Director to lead our sales initiatives and drive growth across diverse markets. This pivotal role involves developing innovative sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. As a key leader, you will champion a customer-centric approach, leverage your expertise in B2B sales and technology solutions, and inspire your team to exceed ambitious targets. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering exceptional value to our clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Revenue Growth * Maximize sales potential at existing and new customers by constructing strong sales plans for each customer * Implement sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed sales objectives * Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available * Report on sales status, issues, and opportunities at relevant discussions with leadership Relationship Building Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs * Address customers' needs, expectations, and concerns with professionalism * Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriates plans to capitalize on opportunities Market Intelligence * Monitor competition by gathering market intelligence on pricing, products, and marketing/promotion * Collect and share competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends Internal Processes * Understand and work with management on inventory levels by being aware of current inventory and out of stock situations and by alerting management to possible fluctuations in demand * Develop strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners Remain informed of parent company activities and updates by attending and actively participating in weekly meetings Efficiency * Continuously review and make recommendations for current processes and programs to ensure efficiency Other duties as assigned Experience High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred * 3+ years experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) Outside Sales is required; experience selling branded consumer products to retail stores is ideal * Passionate and knowledgeable about the cannabis industry. Experience in the cannabis industry preferred * Understanding of Nevada cannabis compliance rules at it relates to Sales * Proficiency in MS office and ability to learn sales and fulfillment software * Proven ability to meet productivity and performance requirements * Negotiation skills * Strong team player * Persuasive selling, problem solving, planning/organizing skills * Ability to identify and resolve problems in partnership with colleagues * Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally * Outstanding attention to detail and high level of critical thinking * Comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid, dynamic, and challenging environment * A high level of professionalism and integrity * Effective time-management skills and the ability to multi-task * Exhibit independence, resiliency, and tenacity Experience: * B2B: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
