Lecturer - OM 632: Sales and Operations Planning (Spring 2026) Cal State University (CSU) San Marcos San Marcos, California 92096 United States Posted: Nov 11, 2025 Education and Training Planning and Development Sales OM 632: Sales and Operations Planning * Position : Instructional Faculty, Special Programs -For Credit * Semester : Spring 2026 * Day/Time : April 27, 2026, to May 28, 2026, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m.. * Modality : In-person * College : College of Business Administration * Department : Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Analytics The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach OM 632: Sales and Operations Planning. Course Description: This course covers sales and operations planning as vital processes in supply chain management. It focuses on three main concepts: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Sales and Operations Planning, and includes Demand Forecasting, Demand Shaping, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Material and Production Planning, Outsourcing, Aggregate Production Planning, Supply Chain Integration and Coordination, Consensus Forecast (Tactical S&OP), Collaboration Sales/Operations/Finance/Business Development), Management review and KPI measurement, and S&OP simulation game. Minimum qualifications: * Master's degree or higher in a relevant field * Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Preferred qualifications: * Career experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics * Demonstrated teaching experience at a four-year university and/or community college * Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community * Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving a diverse campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service.
