POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our Sales team. This role blends inside sales support with customer service responsibilities, playing a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience from order placement through post- sale follow-up. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately enter customer orders and issue order acknowledgements in a timely manner. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email, responding to sales inquiries, order status requests, product questions and support needs. Prepare and provide quotes for service parts and complete units. Issue, track, and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), including coordination of warranty and repair evaluations. Prepare evaluation reports and supporting documentation for returned materials. Process customer credits in accordance with company policies and procedures. Support the outside sales team by providing customer information, follow-up assistance, and quote activity coordination. Collaborate with internal teams (production, engineering, shipping and quality) to resolve issues and meet customer expectations. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS High school diploma/GED is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, order entry, or customer service within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Technical aptitude preferred, including the ability to read and understand technical documentation, product specifications, or engineering documentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer- focused approach. High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data entry and documentation. Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems. Experience with hydraulic gear pumps & motors is preferred. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
