Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative, with experience in Cedar Wood Products. This role requires a strong understanding of Building & Construction and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. You will be instrumental in promoting our products, educating customers and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives within your assigned territory. * Identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our lumber and materials. * Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for growth. * Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, product placement, installation best practices and market conditions to effectively position our products. Requirements * Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role within the lumber and building materials industry. * Strong background in account management and territory management. * Familiarity with CRM software is highly desirable. * Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for clients and the company. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across departments.
