Duties * Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions. * Assist customers with product selection and provide detailed information about merchandise. * Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services. * Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by organizing merchandise and ensuring displays are appealing. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits. * Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Skills * Proven experience in retail sales, demonstrating an understanding of customer needs and preferences. * Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Ability to upsell products effectively, enhancing customer satisfaction while increasing sales. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members. * Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems. * Experience in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels. * Knowledge of product demonstrations to effectively showcase items to potential buyers. * Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
