Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Accounts Salesperson to expand our growing Branded and Private label customer base. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales within the Turf, Ornamental, and Arbor industries, with a proven track record of managing and growing national accounts. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: * Account Management: o Develop and maintain strong relationships with national accounts in the Turf, Ornamental, and Arbor industries. o Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their expectations. * Sales Strategy Development: o Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets. o Identify market trends, competitive landscape, and potential new clients. * Business Development: o Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the national landscape. o Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align offerings with market needs. * Sales Presentations & Negotiations: o Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to key customers. o Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that are beneficial for both the company and customers. * Market Analysis: o Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and changes in regulations affecting the Turf, Ornamental, and Arbor markets. o Provide competitive analysis and feedback to senior management. * Reporting & Forecasting: o Prepare sales forecasts and regularly report on performance against targets. * Collaboration: o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and product management, to ensure alignment and support for national accounts. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, horticulture, agronomy, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Turf, Ornamental, or Arbor industries, with a focus on managing national accounts. * Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Strong understanding of the product lines, market dynamics, and customer needs within the industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Highly organized with strong time management abilities and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
