We are seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and strategic Director of Business Development to help drive census growth through community engagement, referral relationship management, and targeted outreach. This individual will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with assisted living facilities (ALFs), hospital discharge planners, social workers, wound care companies , and other relevant partners in order to increase Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) admissions and maintain optimal occupancy. This is a field-facing role ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of healthcare transitions, and the ability to represent our facility's values and services with professionalism and empathy. Facility Size: 200-300 Beds Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Administrator Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain strong relationships with: * Hospitals, discharge planners, and case managers * Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) and independent living communities * Social workers, home health agencies, and hospice providers * Wound care companies and DME providers * Other community organizations and referral sources * Conduct regular outreach visits, in-services, and follow-up calls to referral partners to maintain visibility and trust. * Promote the facility's clinical programs, including short-term rehab, wound care, memory care , and long-term care services. * Coordinate with the admissions and clinical team to ensure smooth, timely, and appropriate admissions. * Track and report referral activity, conversion rates, and admission trends using CRM tools or facility systems. * Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities. * Monitor competitive landscape and adjust outreach strategy accordingly. * Collaborate with the facility leadership team to align marketing efforts with census goals and strategic priorities. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, home health, home care, hospice, hospital liaison, or SNF admissions preferred * Strong existing relationships within the Los Angeles healthcare community * Working knowledge of post-acute care, insurance (including Medicare/Medicaid), and discharge planning processes * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills * Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities * Must be comfortable traveling throughout the community (reliable transportation required) * Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or related field preferred Why Join Us? * Be part of a dedicated team committed to patient-centered care * Play a direct role in growing and supporting a respected skilled nursing facility * Competitive salary and performance-based incentives * Benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and mileage reimbursement Work Location: In person
