Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions efficiently, and assisting customers with product selections. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with POS systems, and a passion for retail sales. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base. Responsibilities * Operate POS systems accurately to process sales and returns * Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs * Conduct product demos and upsell items to enhance customer experience * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays * Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist in inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area * Support in supervising store operations when needed, including supervising other team members during shifts * Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all new hires * Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing * Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous * Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customers * Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and effective communication skills are necessary for success in this role Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 38.0 per week Work Location: In person
