As an Optical Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring their vision needs are met. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, retail skills, and a commitment to patient care. No nights or weekends! Some travel between our seven locations may be necessary. Responsibilities * Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs * Reinforcing and educating patients on the doctors' recommendations * Perform fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses * Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory of eyewear products * Provide education on proper eyewear care and usage * Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care * Utilize systems for managing patient information, orders and billing * Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology Qualifications * Previous experience as an Optical Sales Specialist or in a related field is preferred * Familiarity with retail sales practices and customer service excellence * Experience with practice management and EMR software a plus * Ability to work effectively in a clinic or retail environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills * A commitment to providing high-quality care Join us in making a difference in our patients' lives by ensuring they receive the best optical care possible!
