About Wellness MD Wellness MD is a leading healthcare and wellness organization supporting physician-led medical practices and wellness brands across multiple states. We partner with franchise operators, medical professionals, and management teams to scale compliant, high-quality healthcare services nationwide. We are seeking a Franchise Development Manager & Account Manager to lead franchise growth while serving as a strategic partner to existing franchisees. This role blends business development, relationship management, and operational coordination within a healthcare-regulated environment. Role Overview The Franchise Development Manager & Account Manager is responsible for driving new franchise growth while supporting and retaining existing franchise partners. This role acts as a key liaison between franchisees, internal clinical/compliance teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful onboarding, launch, and ongoing performance. This position requires strong sales acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to operate in a structured, compliance-driven healthcare environment. Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Development * Identify, qualify, and manage prospective franchise leads from initial inquiry through contract execution * Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and follow-ups with prospective franchise partners * Coordinate franchise onboarding, including timelines, documentation, and internal handoffs * Collaborate with leadership on territory strategy, growth targets, and pipeline forecasting * Maintain CRM accuracy and provide regular reporting on franchise development activity Account Management / Franchisee Support * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned franchise partners post-onboarding * Build long-term relationships to support franchise retention, satisfaction, and growth * Coordinate with operations, compliance, clinical, and finance teams to resolve franchisee issues * Monitor franchise performance and proactively identify opportunities for expansion or optimization * Support renewals, amendments, and expansion discussions as franchisees scale Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with compliance and clinical leadership to ensure franchise alignment with regulatory and medical requirements * Partner with operations and marketing teams to support successful franchise launches * Escalate risks, concerns, or performance issues appropriately and in a timely manner * Represent Wellness MD professionally in external meetings, calls, and events Qualifications * 3-7+ years of experience in franchise development, account management, business development, or healthcare operations * Experience working with franchise models, multi-location businesses, or healthcare services preferred * Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously * Comfort operating in a regulated healthcare or compliance-driven environment * Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Preferred Experience * Healthcare, medical spa, wellness, telehealth, or MSO/PC experience * Franchise onboarding or multi-state expansion experience * Familiarity with compliance-sensitive industries (healthcare, medical, financial services) Travel Requirements * Ability to travel domestically as needed for franchise launches, meetings, or events What We Offer * Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives * Opportunity to work with a fast-growing healthcare and wellness organization * High-impact role with direct visibility to executive leadership * Collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented work environment Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
