JLS Career OpportunityCommercial Landscape Sales Representative For over 35 years, John's Landscape Service, Inc. has enhanced the beauty, functionality, and value of residential, commercial, and institutional properties throughout Greater Boston. We are a trusted leader in landscape design, installation, maintenance, and snow management services. We are currently seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Landscape Sales Representative to help grow our commercial division. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, and driving sales of our commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal services. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of the landscaping industry, a consultative sales approach, and a proven ability to build long-term client partnerships. Position Overview The Commercial Landscape Sales Representative will be responsible for executing the full sales cycle -- from lead generation and discovery meetings through proposal development and contract negotiation. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to commercial clients while representing the JLS brand with professionalism and integrity. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full sales cycle Execute the sales process from inbound leads and existing accounts while proactively generating new opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals. * Consultative selling approach Conduct client meetings to assess needs, objectives, and budgets while providing expert guidance and customized solutions. * Proposal development & follow-up Prepare and present professional proposals, bids, and estimates in a timely manner and conduct consistent follow-ups to close opportunities. * Contract negotiation & closing Secure long-term, recurring commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal contracts while negotiating profitable pricing. * Revenue growth Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall company growth objectives. * CRM & pipeline management Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and opportunity tracking using CRM tools. * Market awareness Stay current on industry trends, competitive pricing, and market conditions. * Client satisfaction & retention Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication, service follow-up, and account development. * Winter operations support Assist with snow and ice operations during winter months as needed. Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial landscape sales, account management, or business development * Valid driver's license required * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets * Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills * Solid understanding of landscape and horticultural principles * Highly organized with strong time management skills * Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams * Passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor environments Compensation & Benefits * Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus and commission structure * Comprehensive benefits package * Opportunity to grow with an established, respected, and expanding company * Support from an experienced operations and leadership team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
