We are professional, agile, fast-paced contractor and our goal is to bring another estimator onto the team to increase revenue. We are a family owned and operated painting company, who specializes in commercial paint and wallcovering projects. We have the reputation and experience to provide superior service and quality to our clients. We complete 95% commercial jobs, from hospitality, medical, senior living, TI's & recreation. We work mainly in the Orange County, Los Angeles San Diego and the Inland Empire.. This position is for a painting estimator. Someone who is detail oriented, a team player, honest and who can communicate effectively , as well as provide exceptional pricing and service to our customers. We are looking to grow our team with a competent well-established salesperson. SEEKING LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT. Overview: We are looking for an estimator with strong knowledge in construction estimating, paint process and products. Heavy computer skills to quantify, price and negotiate the award of painting projects for handoff to our operations team. 4 years' experience construction estimating and paint knowledge a must. Someone who is pro-active, who understands the sales process and can execute from RFP to award. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on client expectations and deliverables. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Duties * Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction industry * Utilize Bluebeam, Planswift and Excel software for project estimation and pricing * Conduct thorough construction estimating to provide accurate quotes for potential projects * Engage in negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements * Provide insights on pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis * Hardworking sales minded who is results driven Experience * Proven experience in sales within the construction industry * Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools, including Bluebeam and Planswift * Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management * Experience in cost control, pricing strategies, and project management methodologies * Previous paint industry experience is highly desirable, providing practical insights into client needs * A background in construction management is a plus, enhancing understanding of project workflows.
