Job Summary: The Market Route Merchandiser is responsible for servicing retail market accounts by stocking shelves, rotating products, maintaining displays, and ensuring optimal product presentation. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales team, maximizing product visibility, and enhancing customer satisfaction at store-level accounts on an assigned route. Key Responsibilities: * Visit assigned retail locations according to a planned route and schedule. * Stock and rotate products on shelves, coolers, and displays in accordance with company and store guidelines. * Build and maintain attractive, organized product displays to support brand visibility and sales performance. * Monitor inventory levels and report stock needs or low inventory to sales or warehouse teams. * Remove expired, damaged, or unsaleable products and ensure freshness and product quality. * Ensure planogram compliance and support in-store promotional and seasonal initiatives. * Communicate with store managers, buyers, and staff to maintain positive relationships and resolve service issues. * Track and report merchandising activities, store conditions, and product performance via company systems or mobile app. * Maintain company vehicle and adhere to company safety and operational protocols. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous experience in merchandising, route sales, or retail preferred. * Valid driver's license with clean driving record equal to or greater than 5 years. * Must be 23 years of age or older. * Pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Detail-oriented with a focus on product presentation and inventory accuracy. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and in various retail environments. Work Environment: * Fast-paced, physical work involving repetitive lifting, bending, and stocking. * This position involves frequent driving and physical activity, including lifting, bending, and walking. * Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. * Must be comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
