*Bilingual Sales Representative - C&T Design and Equipment Co. Onsite in Columbus, Ohio | Full-Time Reports to: Branch Manager Collaborates with: Project Managers and Corporate Accounting Department About Us: C&T Design and Equipment Co., Inc. is a full concept food service design and equipment supply company that provides services from conception to completion, including consulting, design, development, engineering, project management, and installation. With offices across the US, we are large, privately-owned commercial food service equipment dealer with over 100 employees. We are seeking a full-time Spanish/English Bilingual Sales Rep to support our Columbus, Ohio branch as part of our internal growth strategy. The person who fills this position will need to be in-office in Columbus, with frequent travel to surrounding jobsites. Role Overview: The Bilingual Sales Rep will lead our most complex kitchen builds. This isn't a traditional sales role; it's a technical, consultative position that requires a deep understanding of kitchen ergonomics, design flow, and project management. You will serve as the bridge between a client's vision and a fully operational, high-efficiency kitchen. C&T Design will provide the employee with the necessary equipment and technology to be successful in this role. *Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Bilingual Partnership: Lead consultations, negotiations, and site visits in both Spanish and English, ensuring total clarity between owners and contractors. Consultative Design & Flow: Analyze menus and volume requirements to design kitchen layouts that optimize efficiency, food safety, and ergonomic flow. Equipment Selection & Logistics: Guide customers through equipment selection based on ROI, durability, and manufacturer lead times. Timeline Advocacy: Manage customer expectations regarding realistic construction milestones and equipment delivery schedules. Technical Liaison: Coordinate with General Contractors and MEP teams to ensure site-readiness and code compliance. *Education & Experience: Education: High School Diploma required; University Degree strongly preferred Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales and/or design build role is required with preferred experience working with commercial kitchens. Skills: Professional-level fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal). You can explain a technical spec sheet or a legal document in either language with ease. Proficiency with computers, including word processing, database management, and spreadsheets Excellent telephone and customer management skills Demonstrated proficiency in composing written communications Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and CAD/Revit files Proven ability to project manage long-term, high-capital projects from initial concept to final walk-through Ability to translate technical specs for owners and hold firm with contractors on site-readiness Why Join Us?
