Position Overview We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Government Account Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role is primarily responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting government bids and proposals. As a key part of the inside sales team, you will manage the day-to-day workflow of responding to solicitations from agencies such as the VA, DoD, and other federal customers. You will play a key role in advancing our SDVOSB mission and supporting our veteran and military healthcare customers. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and manage incoming Requests for Quote (RFQs) from VA, DoD, and other federal agencies across SAM.gov, ECAT, GSA eBuy, and other platforms. * Research and monitor federal procurement platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, ECAT, GSA eBuy) for new opportunities. * Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, and contract documentation in compliance with FAR and agency-specific requirements. * Maintain accurate records in NetSuite CRM, including customer interactions, quotes, and sales activities. * Conduct research and analysis relating to past government bid awards to competitively bid partner vendor products. * Respond to all government bids relating to medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. * Develop relationships with both medical equipment and pharmaceutical manufacturers sales representatives. * Coordinate with sourcing and operations teams to gather pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines for bids. * Support compliance with HIPAA, procurement regulations, and internal documentation standards. * Participate in JANZ's structured onboarding and ongoing training programs. * Represent JANZ at industry events and virtual meetings as needed. * Submit and track a high volume of government bids daily, ensuring consistency, speed, and accuracy across submissions. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred. * Open to recent graduates with strong communication skills and a demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare, or government contracting. * 2-3 years of experience in government or medical sales preferred, with a proven track record of success. * Familiarity with federal procurement processes, FAR, NAICS codes, and SDVOSB contracting advantages is a plus. * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (NetSuite preferred). * Must reside in the Columbus, OH area and work on-site at JANZ headquarters. * Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. * Ensure all submitted quotes and proposals are accurate, compliant with FAR/VAAR guidelines, and submitted before deadlines.
