Carpetland USA is seeking a motivated Design Consultants/Sales Member with experience in flooring, home improvement, or residential construction sales to join their growing team! We're looking for a career-minded professional with a stable background in design or project-oriented sales. A successful Consultant will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to effectively communicate and show strong salesmanship and relationship building skills. There is no limit to your income potential in this role! Duties of the Sales Associate: * Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner when they enter the store * Assist customers with product selection, utilizing skills in home decor and design * Schedule measurements and installation and troubleshoot issues if they arise between the customer and installer * Assist in the collection of accounts receivables and management of account balances * All other job duties as assigned by upper management Skills: * Creative problem solving and strong communication skills * Excellent customer service skills Qualifications: * High School Degree or equivalent * Minimum 1 year of commissioned sales experience in flooring, construction, home improvement, or related residential design sales * Demonstrated track record of consistent performance and career stability (fewer than three sales roles in the past five years preferred) * Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays * Valid Drivers License Physical Environment: * Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally * Standing and walking often * Occasional bending and stooping Benefits: * Health and dental insurance * Paid Time Off * 401(k) and profit sharing * Comprehensive pay, commission, and bonus opportunities Since 1971 Carpetland USA has been dedicated to providing superior floors and service.
