Cardinal Transportation is looking for a Sales Representative with transportation industry experience. Do you love to help people have a great transportation experience? To excel in this position, you will need to have great organizational skills, be very comfortable talking on the phone, be proficient on a personal computer, handle multiple priorities without errors and have fun. Your excellent communication skills will need to be on display while engaging with clients on the phone and through email as well as while working with coworkers in varied roles within the organization.

Responsibilities

: 70%:

• Excel in converting calls and emails into reservation with exceptional customer service
• Respond to customer phone calls and email requests with the correct information
• Input new reservations into dispatch system and send confirmation emails
• Modify existing reservations in dispatch system as needed and resend confirmation emails
• Data entry related to trip itineraries
• Monitor dispatch system and assist drivers with schedule changes due to changes in flight arrival/departure times
• Provide affiliate partners with confirmations and status updates as needed 15%:
• Manage assigned accounts via CRM system
• Develop travel quotes for charters based on both time and miles - Cultivate client relationships to facilitate repeat business and long-term partnerships 10%:
• Contact drivers for the following date about runs assigned (ex. Changes, add-ons, special directions)
• Respond to issues with customers/drivers
• Organize and distribute driver paperwork (such as: trip sheets, directions, marquees, etc.)
• Contact drivers to get staffing shortages covered
• Update driver's availability as needed 5%:
• Provide customers with information about the local area and points of interest as requested
• General office duties as needed ex. Sorting, filing, faxing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
