We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Outside Sales Canvasser / Cold Caller to support our continued expansion in Orange County, California. This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering a monthly base plus commission and performance bonuses.

Job Summary

The role centers on proactive outbound outreach to luxury home builders, remodeling companies, and construction professionals throughout Orange County, California , generating new business opportunities and opening doors for our sales team. This position is ideal for:

  • A recent college graduate seeking to launch a career in outside sales, business development, or the design/build industry
  • A driven self-starter who enjoys initiating conversations and building professional relationships
  • An industry veteran with established relationships in luxury homebuilding, remodeling, or multifamily construction
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound cold calls to luxury home builders, remodeling companies, and construction firms throughout Orange County, California
  • Perform in-person canvassing as part of an outside sales role
  • Introduce MARRAM Cabinetry and clearly communicate our trade-only value proposition
  • Identify decision-makers and qualify new accounts for follow-up by the sales team
  • Schedule showroom visits, product presentations, and introductory meetings
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists within Orange County, California
  • Track outreach activity, conversations, and lead status accurately
  • Work directly with sales leadership to refine messaging and outreach strategy
  • Represent the MARRAM brand professionally and confidently in the field Outside Sales
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be a confident, comfortable driver capable of daily travel throughout Orange County, California
  • Reliable personal transportation required
  • Comfortable conducting in-person visits to offices, job sites, and showrooms
Qualifications
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort speaking with business owners, principals, and executives
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and goal-oriented
  • Professional demeanor and polished presentation
  • Interest in luxury residential construction, remodeling, architecture, or sales
  • Prior experience in cold calling, canvassing, or outside sales is a plus
  • Existing relationships in the luxury homebuilding, remodeling, or multifamily space are highly valued
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for experienced candidates
