Second Chance, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development to join the Acquisitions and Donations team, overseeing the sales objectives and initiatives for the department and responsible for managing our successful outbound acquisitions strategy. The successful candidate will: - Develop a targeted approach to increasing high end donations of building products, furnishings, art etc. - Own the sales cycle through the use of both qualified leads and your own network of contacts. Closing is a must. - Use phone, email and sales calls to increase donor base. - Manage new and past donors. - Implement and maintain a system to measure the success of acquisitions and donations. - Assist with marketing campaigns, social media, and donor events. - Track goals and standards for the company. - Track and manage donor relationships and report key success factors. - Manage all new and existing leads/campaigns maintaining proper follow up and follow through utilizing Sales Force CRM platform for accurate tracking.

Requirements

: - Five (5) years successful experience in business development; consistently meeting or exceeding targets. - Proven ability to drive the sales process from concept to close. - Proficient in Salesforce or another CRM system. - Bachelor's degree preferred. The successful candidate is self-directed, collaborative and can work productively and cooperatively with a wide variety of individuals. This person is comfortable interacting with the public individually and in groups and is able to understand and communicate well ACROSS A DIVERSE SPECTRUM OF STAKEHOLDERS. The successful candidate who fills this full -time position has strong planning and communication skills, with excellent professional and personal references.
